Welcome to the Oxide Electronics Group
In our group, we synthesize oxides with interesting correlated-electron physics, understand their inner workings, and harness them to new types of electronic and energy devices.
We bring together people, ideas and methods from Electrical Engineering, Physics and Materials Science. We work in a diverse group, and we enjoy collaborating with scientists from all around the world. Our efforts are divided into four main categories:
- Basic understanding of the physics and electronic structure of complex oxides
- Device engineering of oxide electronics that leverage the physics of these materials for new functionalities
- Integrating oxides with conventional semiconductors, using advanced epitaxial techniques
- Study the physics of magnetic oxides and interfaces for magnetic and spintronic devices
We’re located at the Microelectronics Center, inĀ The Andrew & Erna Viterbi Dept. of Electrical & Computer Engineering, at the TechnionĀ (Google maps)
